What a surprise, its raining

So we arrived at the ferry terminal in Newhaven at about 9am. Very early!

We are now starting to settle int our various roles.

Gavin ‘where’s France’ Moreton is the worrier. ‘I only have 8 miles of fuel left’ ‘ my screen is crap’ ‘need to get there early’

Richard ‘I need to empty my Bag’ Edwards is the Moaner of the group. ‘My back hurts’, ‘I need a piss’, ‘my bikes too heavy’

Rob ‘ Should I shave off my Broke back mountain beard’ Williams is the one that is going to make the group stop all the time. ‘I’m tired’, ‘I need a coffee’, ‘I haven’t had any sleep’

The cabin was a great idea and Rob was out as soon as his head hit the pillow. Gavin and Richard spent a few hours discussing the trip the next day.

Rob woke up in th morning to a very worrying site and we are stil not 100% sure what Gave and Richard were up to

All that could be hear was ‘left a bit, right a bit arrrr’

We arrived in France at 5am and were presently surprised to find that it was not raining. We spent 10 mins trying to drag Robs bike out of the wheel chock on the ferry before he announced that it was inn gear (dick).

On the ferry Richard made friends with Uncle Albert from only fools and horses who proceed to tell him about there placed he had visited during the war, he does seem to attract them.

We stopped for fuel, and put our waiter proofs on.

The lack of rain never lasted long and we were soon riding through a torrential downpour so pulled over for a coffee in Alencon, shortly followed by a second coffee because Rob was moaning about being tired.
